How to check if your phone is compatible with eSIMs
Here’s how to verify whether your Android or iPhone works with eSIMs.
Android: The exact steps may differ slightly depending on Android device and model, but they all follow the same logic. Go to your device’s settings and look for Network and Internet. Locate the SIM card or Mobile network and see if adding a new SIM card is possible. If there’s an option to add a new SIM, your device is most likely eSIM compatible. You can also check your device’s specifications to confirm if it supports eSIMs.
iPhone: Newer iPhone models, starting from the iPhone XR, are eSIM-compatible. To check if the iPhone works with eSIMs, go to your iPhone Settings, select General, tap About, and scroll down. If you see a 32-digit EID number, your iPhone supports eSIMs. You can also check your iPhone specifications to see if it’s eSIM-compatible.
