How to Sell Crypto on Prestmit

How the automated crypto selling process works on Prestmit — generating your wallet address, sending crypto, and receiving your payout.

Selling crypto on Prestmit is fully automated. You generate a wallet address, send crypto to it, and your payout arrives in Naira, Cedis, or your USD wallet automatically — no manual steps needed after sending.

Step 1: Generate your crypto wallet address

  1. Tap "Crypto Wallet" on the home screen.

  2. Select the coin you want to sell (Bitcoin, ETH, USDT, USDC, Tron, BNB, LTC, DOGE).

  3. Tap "Generate Address" if you haven't already. Your address is permanent for BTC and LTC. ETH, Tron, BNB, and USDT addresses expire after 120 days.

Step 2: Send crypto to your address

Send crypto from any wallet, exchange, or crypto ATM to your Prestmit address. After the required blockchain confirmations, your payout is processed automatically.

Step 3: Receive your payout

Once confirmed, the crypto is converted to your default fiat currency (Naira or Cedis) at the current rate, or to your USD wallet if selected. You don't need to do anything.

Please Note: A single exchange rate applies to all sell crypto transactions regardless of amount. Rates change with the market — the rate applied is the one current at the time your transaction is confirmed. If your default wallet is Cedis, Prestmit converts Naira to Cedis automatically using the current conversion rate.

How long does it take? Usually 5–30 minutes. Slow network fees or blockchain congestion can extend this. See Why Is My Incoming Crypto Transaction Pending? if your transaction is taking longer than expected.

Can I send from any country? Yes — any wallet, any country, including Bitcoin ATMs.
