Why was my transaction edited to another category?

Your pending sell gift card transaction may be edited if it was submitted in the wrong category. Prestmit has different categories and subcategories for different gift card assets and their values, each with its own rate.

If your transaction is submitted in the wrong category, our team will move it to the correct one — this may result in a different rate and a different payout, as rates vary across categories.

Why did I receive a different payout than expected?

Your transaction may also be edited if it was submitted with the wrong value. For example, if a $20 gift card is submitted as $50, our team will correct this to the actual value of $20 — which will result in a lower payout than initially expected.

We always aim to process transactions accurately and fairly. If you believe your transaction was edited in error, please contact our support team with your transaction details and we'll review it for you right away.
