Why Did My Withdrawal Fail?

This article explains the common reasons a withdrawal may be unsuccessful

We know how important it is to receive your funds promptly. Here are the most common reasons a withdrawal may fail, and what you can do about each one.

Good news — your funds are safe

Regardless of the reason, your funds are automatically reversed to your Prestmit wallet whenever a withdrawal fails. You can proceed to withdraw again once you've identified and resolved the issue.

Common reasons for a failed withdrawal

  • Your bank is temporarily unavailable — Some banks are occasionally paused on our end due to downtime or network issues on their side.

  • Account limit reached — Your bank account may have a receiving limit that the withdrawal amount exceeds.

  • Incorrect account details — The bank account number or details entered may be wrong or invalid.

  • Duplicate transaction detected — Multiple withdrawals of the same amount made in quick succession may be flagged as duplicates by the system.

How to check the reason for your failed withdrawal

  1. Go to "Wallet"> tap "Withdraw".

  2. Tap on the failed transaction.

  3. The transaction details will show the specific reason for the failure.
